Hi, good afternoon Madame, we are humbly seeking for your kind heart, to help us avail of a scholarship grant for my daughter, REJINA MAE MARFIL LABO, 16 years old, a freshmen nursing student at CENTRO ESCOLAR UNIVERSITY here at Makati Campus, Makati City.
Stated hereunder are the valid reasons why we really need your assistance:
1. Rejina prays that she could be able to continue her nursing education at one of the most reputable college institution in the Philippines and be able to land a great job, a REGISTERED NURSE.
2. Although I, Maribeth Marfil Labo, mother of Rejina is working as well as my husband Rogelio R. Labo, we cannot afford the P40,000,.00 tuition fee and, we are currently under financial constraint, due to my illness, which is:
Antiphospholipid syndrome (APS or APLS) or antiphospholipid antibody syndrome is a disorder of coagulation, which causes blood clots (thrombosis) in both arteries and veins, as well as pregnancy-related complications such as miscarriage, preterm delivery, or severe preeclampsia. The syndrome occurs due to the autoimmune production of antibodies against phospholipid (aPL), a cell membrane substance.
Antiphospholipid syndrome is sometimes referred to as Hughes syndrome.
Thrombosis or stroke – Possible residual neurologic findings
Cutaneous manifestations
Photosensitivity with an unexplained cause is another criterion.
2. We hardly save enough due to the medicines required for me to take regularly, likewise, we have a son, Rae Marvin Marfil Labo,who is also in Grade IV at Paco Catholic School right now.
3 We are just earning P 15,000.00 net pay every month, excluding our medicine expenses which bothers me a lot.
4. The most important thing in this world, and the ultimate dream of every parent, is to fulfill their obligations to have their children finish their studies and be responsible citizens in their chosen career.
5. The only solution we thought that could help us, is to seek for people and organizations like yours whom we know would listen to our appeal and could assists us in our present problem.

To me, I have seen Sharon Cuneta grew up from singing to acting in the Philippines. Although she is a daughter of the late Pasay City Mayor pablo Cuneta and Ellen Gamboa, we believed that she is a very gifted girl as an artist. She could sing well and what is so amazing, she is an extraordinary actress. Being an artist with special touch is a gift from GOD.
